Prepare Your Submission in Advance
Once you start your submission, you will be required to complete and submit the proposal in full. IASP recommends you review the following tasks and prepare required information in advance in a Word document. Once you start the submission, the process will take 5-10 minutes to complete.

After you complete and submit your proposal, you can review and edit your submission by clicking on your initials in the top right hand corner, select 'My Dashboard' followed by 'My Talks' located in the left hand menu bar.


Call for Workshop Submissions | NeuPSIG 2023 International Congress on Neuropathic Pain
7-9 September 2023, Lisbon, Portugal 

 
The Scientific Program Committee and co-Chairs Simon Haroutounian, PhD, and Franziska Denk, DPhil, invite you to submit a workshop proposal to be considered for presentation at the 8th International Congress on Neuropathic Pain (NeuPSIG 2023). 
 
NeuPSIG 2023 is the leading meeting for the latest research and developments in understanding the mechanisms, assessment, prevention, and treatment of neuropathic pain.
 
Proposals in all areas of neuropathic pain are eligible for submission. Diversity by gender, country/region and/or professional/training background, as well as the inclusion of a junior presenter and/or a person with lived experience (PWLE), is encouraged. Suitability will be judged by the Scientific Program Committee. 
 
Key Dates and Deadlines:
Workshop Submissions: 21 November 2022 – 26 January 2023
Workshops should be designed to be 90 minutes long. 
Workshop selection announcement will be made in Mid-April 2023 



Submission Deadline: 3 February 2023, 11:59 EST.  


All selected presenters (except PWLE) will be required to be a member of IASP and NeuPSIG prior to presenting at NeuPSIG 2023 in Lisbon.

Please note: You will be required to complete the submission in full, however, if you prepare all of the below in advance, the submission process will take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete. Individuals are allowed to co-author more than one workshop proposal; however, no single speaker will be selected to present at more than two sessions (plenary or workshop).

Workshop Proposal Submission Guidelines 
  • Workshop proposals must be submitted via the online submission site only. Workshop proposals submitted by email or fax will not be accepted. 
  • Workshop proposals must be received by 3 February 2023. Workshop proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. 
  • All presenters should be prepared to register to attend NeuPSIG 2023. 
  • Submission of a workshop proposal acknowledges your acceptance of the workshop proposal to be listed in the official meeting publications. 
  • Workshop proposals must be submitted in English. 
  • No changes will be made to the submitted and accepted workshop proposal. 
 
Workshop Proposal Submissions 
Five tasks are associated with submitting a workshop for NeuPSIG 2023. Workshop presentations are eligible for Continuing Education credits. Given this qualification, there are specific regulations in place that IASP must recognize and implement. 
 
Task 1: Description

Instructions: Please provide information about your submission.  * Indicates a required field 
 
Session Title*
A proposal must have a short, specific title (containing no abbreviations) that indicates the nature of the session. All titles should be written in title case (the first letter of each word in your title is capitalized, except for certain small words, such as articles and short prepositions). 200 character maximum

Presentation Title*
The title must be brief and clearly indicate the nature of the presentation. Please use title case when entering your title; that is capitalize only the first letter of the first word of the title, the first word after a colon, and any proper nouns or abbreviations. The total length of the title should be no more than 200 characters, not including spaces.
