Early Career and Trainee Activities


In order to support and address the needs of Early Career members, improve their career prospects, and foster the next generation of IASP leaders, the NeuPSIG 2023 Scientific Committee is pleased to announce the following activities geared towards Early Career attendees.  

These activities are intended to provide opportunities for students, trainees, and early career faculty to advance career development skills and build professional networks.

Pavillion 4, Room 1.0, Lisbon Convention Center

Early Career delegates are invited to stop by and network with senior mentors.

Trainee Data Blitz 
7 September: 16:00-17:30 
 
Hear the latest results from the brightest young minds in pain research, including flash talks across the whole spectrum of neuropathic pain research: from systematic reviews and clinical studies all the way to super-resolution imaging and gene therapy. 

Early Career and Trainee Reception
8 September: 18:00 - 20:00 
This event is by invitation only for trainee delegates and senior mentors to network informally. Attendees will enjoy beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and passed canapes after some brief welcome remarks.
