Conflicts of Interest
All publications of IASP and its Special Interest Groups (SIGs) must include conflict-of-interest disclosure information for every contributor. This includes books published by IASP Press, journals published on behalf of IASP, newsletters of IASP and its SIGs, Congress lectures, workshops, refresher courses, abstracts presented at IASP congresses, and materials published on the IASP or SIG websites. A conflict of interest may occur when a contributor enters into a financial relationship: with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) or the provider(s) of commercial services related to the publication/presentation or with any commercial or other supporter of the work related to the publication/presentation.

Significant financial interest or other relationship can include factors such as a contributors (1) receipt of government or corporate grants or research support; (2) status as an employee, consultant, or shareholder of a company with an interest in the published material or a member of a speakers bureau; or (3) receipt of other forms of financial support. All contributors must declare the existence of any such relationship. The intent of this disclosure is not to prevent the publication of research work or professional or scientific opinion. It is IASPs intent that this action will assure readers of IASP published material with information that enables them to make their own judgments about the possibility of conflict of interest. Such disclosure information shall be included in the published material with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) or the provider(s) of commercial services related to the publication/presentation or with any commercial or other supporter of the work related to the publication/presentation.

Financial Relationship
Financial Relationship are those relationships in which the individual benefits by receiving a salary, royalty, intellectual property rights, consulting fee, honoraria, ownership interest (e.g., stocks, stock options or other ownership interest, excluding diversified mutual funds), or other financial benefit. Financial benefits are usually associated with roles such as employment, management position, independent contractor (including contracted research), consulting, speaking and teaching, membership on advisory committees or review panels, board membership, and other activities for which remuneration is received or expected. ACCME considers relationships of the person involved in the CME activity to include financial relationships of a spouse or partner. The ACCME has not set a minimum dollar amount for relationships to be significant. Inherent in any amount is the incentive to maintain or increase the value of the relationship.

Disclosure of financial relationships
Disclosure of financial relationships that the author(s) may have with the manufacturer/supplier of any commercial products or services related to the work, should be indicated in the appropriate box on the abstract form.

Previously Presented Poster
IASP will NOT accept any poster that has been previously presented at another meeting. Poster abstracts must describe original scientific material that has not been previously published or presented at other national or international meetings. IASP does not allow encore presentations. However, if a poster abstract was presented elsewhere only with preliminary results and complete results are now available, it may be presented.

Diversity
Diversity and inclusion are organizational priorities of IASP and programming must ensure representation of all members. IASP encourages and promotes participation, accessibility, active representation and leadership from diverse populations, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic status, disability, age and religion. Beyond promoting diversity, the association promotes an environment that is supportive of all diverse groups in the interest of advancing science.
