Abstract Description

Institution: AKH WIEN - department of Special Anesthesia and Pain Therapy of Medical University Vienna. - Vienna, Austria

In this poster presentation, we will explore the role of Quantitative Sensory Testing (QST) in evaluating the effectiveness of Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) in managing chronic neuropathic pain. We will provide an overview of SCS and QST, including their individual mechanisms and applications. Through the use of case studies and clinical data, we will demonstrate how QST can be used to objectively measure the impact of SCS on a patient's pain sensitivity.
